VOLUNTEER LINK

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Project LINK’s Back to School Health Clinics, in collaboration with our partners within the Back-to-School Coalition of Hillsborough County.
The Back-to-School Coalition of Hillsborough County is working hard to carefully implement a safe and healthy environment for everyone during these summer clinics.
Our team has developed an extended COVID-19 Contingency Operation Plan to safely execute our Back-to-School Health Clinics during this post pandemic era. Our plan includes, but not limited to adhering to CDC precautions: following social distancing protocols, utilizing personal protection equipment, performing COVID-19 screenings for volunteers, routine disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces, limiting clinical appointments, minimizing on-site personnel, patients waiting in their cars/outside until appointment times, and face-covering for clinical support.
Our efforts address the health care disparities that are plaguing neighborhoods across the Tampa Bay area. We serve families that do not or have limited access to healthcare providers and is committed to the progression of health equity within our communities.
If you cannot keep your volunteer commitment, please alert your site coordinator. We rely on the efforts of all team members and adjustments could be needed to fulfill your role.
We appreciate your support, as you help us serve a population that has systematically experienced greater obstacles.
